Frequently asked questions
From "what do I pack?" to "what if I’m late?"—we’ve answered the questions real parents ask. Easy to find and understand facts, and if you still need help, our team’s just a message away.
What does my child need to bring each day?
We take care of the big stuff (meals, bedding, sunscreen, nappies, wipes, hats), but a few small things from home help. Pack a labelled water bottle, spare clothes (because mess happens), and any comfort item they love—like a dummy or favourite toy and anything else they may use regularly at home (for example, a sleepsuit). We'll give you a checklist so nothing gets missed.
What if my child is absent on one of their booked days?
Let the centre know as soon as you can. Absences happen (especially with kids!), and if you’re eligible for CCS, you might not lose your spot or your subsidy. Sick days, family days—it’s all part of the journey.
What’s the best way to say goodbye to my child?
Short and sweet usually works best. A hug, a consistent goodbye routine, and letting educators guide your child into play can help. We’ll keep you updated and let you know how they’re going.
Can I book a casual day?
Yes! Most centres offer casual bookings when spots are free. Great for unexpected work days or just a bit of breathing room. Give the centre a call to check availability.
What if my child has learning support or additional needs?
Every child is welcome. Our team works closely with families to understand needs, build a personalised plan, and make sure your child feels supported, seen, and safe.
