Set on a beautiful 5-acre property, our centre is surrounded by animals, veggie patches, and nature trails. Children don’t just look out at nature—they are immersed in it. Our natural spaces reflect the surrounding landscape and invite children to learn outdoors, solve problems, and develop a deep respect and appreciation for the environment, fostering lifelong connections to the natural world.

At ELO Mount Vernon, Centre Director Ms. Rita makes every family feel at home. With over 15 years in early childhood education, Ms. Rita leads a passionate team who know what children need to thrive. From favourite storybooks to planting seedlings, she helps create routines and relationships that make children feel safe, capable, and connected. We envision a learning community where children feel deeply connected, empowered, and celebrated.

For up to 20 children aged 0-2 years
A calm, nurturing space with cuddles, sensory play, and flexible routines. Every baby is cared for with patience, trust, and gentleness — just like family.
Wallabies
For up to 20 children aged 2-3 years
This is the age of wonder. Toddlers are supported through independence, toilet training, and emotional growth, with hands-on play and simple responsibilities like helping feed the animals.
Kangaroos
For up to 26 children aged 3-5 years
Our preschool program blends school readiness with Bush Kinder. Through outdoor play, social learning, and real-world routines, children grow into confident, curious learners ready for their next stage.
